The Saturday Journal: This is all...

This is all I have today--this week.
It's been a gut-wrenching week.
Blood stains in a classroom--on a train--on a university campus. Children--a young girl--a public figure.
Innocent lives--one life no more important than the other.
The noise of the media has been drowning.
The noise of social media--loud--often times ugly--brutal. Deafening.
And all the while something else happened this week--on a school playground. A group of small children--the tender ages of five and six. Two of the girls were playing together--two friends. And one of the little girls noticed a classmate standing alone.
And she walked over to him and said, 'Would you like to play with us?'
Love one another.
This is all.
Just love one another.
Jesus' words, written in red.
A new commandment I give unto you,
That ye love one another;
as I have loved you,
that ye also love one another.
John 13: 34.
